Measurements to prevent strokes
The Primary Care Center Engelbrekt, in Ludvika is working on a new venture of a technical method that can prevent stroke in risk patients.
Engelbrekt has purchased five Zenicor-ECGs which patients in the risk group for getting a stroke can use at home. From their homes they take ECG tests of pressure with your thumbs against the device for 30 seconds twice a day.
The measurements are sent directly from the device to Engelbrekt, where the staff can read the results.
